After signing up, you can choose one of four teams (National League, American League, National Association, and International). Then, you can pick a position (first base, second base, third base, shortstop, catcher, pitcher, outfielder, and designated hitter).
Finally, you can select a name for your team. Once you’re done creating your team, it’s time to begin drafting.
You can draft players using a ticket system. Tickets cost 10 cents each and you can purchase as many as you want. Each ticket represents one player. When you receive a ticket, you can place that player into your lineup. If you don’t use the ticket, it goes back into the pool.
At the end of the season, you’ll receive points based on how well your team did. Your team leaderboard rankings will show you how you rank among other players worldwide.
First off, let us start with the basics. When you are starting up the game, you will see a screen. Here, you will find three buttons. One is the pitch button, another one is the bat button and the third one is the slider button. Let us now go into detail about each of those buttons.
This is the most important button to know because without it you cannot make any pitches or throw any balls. All you have to do is press this button once and select the type of pitch you want to throw.
For example, if you want to throw a fastball, you simply have to press the pitch button and select a fast ball. Then, you must hold down the pitch button while you are throwing the ball. After that, release the button and the ball will come flying towards the plate.
As soon as you touch the bat button, the pitcher will stand behind the mound and wait for the batter to swing his bat. Once he swings, you will hear a sound effect and the ball will fly towards the hitter.
You start off with a bat that gives you an average power rating. As you progress through the game, you will unlock different bats with better ratings.
When you are playing baseball, you must keep track of how many outs there are left for your opponent. This is done by tapping the “out” button at the bottom of the screen. You can also use the “in” button to check if your opponent has any outs remaining.
This button allows you to throw a slider. A slider is a slow moving curveball that comes in from outside the zone. It usually has a lot of movement and is very difficult to hit.
To throw a slider, first you must press the slider button and then you must hold down the slider button while you are throwing.
Baseball 9 has introduced a new feature called “Steal Bases.” This feature allows players to prevent opposing batters from reaching home plate safely.
The game starts with a pitcher throwing a baseball toward home plate. When the batter swings his bat, the system detects whether the swing is legal or illegal. If the swing is legal, the batter scores a run. Otherwise, the batter is out.
If the batter attempts to steal a base, the system warns him by displaying the (i) symbol next to the base number. The player must tap the screen to continue playing.
When the batter reaches third base, the system displays a red circle around the base number. To stop the runner from scoring, the batter needs to hit the ball into play.
In addition, the system keeps track of how many times each batter steals a base during the course of the game. The player can view the stolen base totals at any time.
The game offers you a chance to earn coins while playing matches. These coins are used to buy different items like gear, boosters, etc. There are three ways to earn coins; win, lose, or draw. If you win, you’ll get 5x the amount of coins compared to losing or drawing.
However, don’t spend all those precious coins on gear because it won’t help you much. Instead, save them up for recruiting players.
If you want to see how much OVR your recruits have, tap the Recruited Player icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. Then, tap the “+” sign next to the tier of your player. If you do this, the player will instantly gain a few points.
However, keep in mind that the higher the tier, the less effective the gear. So, don’t waste too many coins on boosting your recruits.
After creating a good team by selecting players using the recruitment card, players should exchange the recruitment cards with gems other than hiring more other players.
The first thing to spend gems should be to max out the Staminases because they benefit this game most.
The first use of the coins is to level up all the players in the Baseball teams you already have created.
If the ball is out pitched by the opposing team, don’t try to hit the ball. Just ignore it.
Use fast balls or sliders against the opponents when you are pitching, rather than giving any chances for them to hit the balls.
In baseball 9, there are three main leagues: Rookie, Pro and Master. You can choose to play as a rookie, pro or master player. You can upgrade your level by winning games.
If you want to climb up the ladder, you must beat better teams. The higher the level, the tougher the opponent will be.
