As we have mentioned above, the basic act of taking items out of boxes and placing them in a new house is the focus of this game. The idea is that you make a simple and comfortable home, while learning about the life that your character has and what they have been through.
As a result, you then start to create a close connection to the character that you never meet. While, you learn about their personal story through their belongings.
This story is told through 8 house moves. The stages in the game are labeled with the years they occur in: 1997, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2018.
Each level’s gameplay involves moving a female character’s belongings out of boxes and into a new home to signify key life milestones.
The player’s objective is to arrange each unpacked thing in the protagonist’s living space while learning about her life through her possessions and her surroundings.
There are no time limits or scores in the game, so it can be quite relaxing to simply unpack the items while learning about this character. Overall, there are eight phases and 35 rooms altogether.
It is important to note that the game has an idea on where everything should be placed. Thus, sometimes you may place an item in a certain place, yet it will begin to glow red. This is a sign that you need to have a rethink and place the item somewhere else.
