If the app required for you to set up an account, you will find the login page on the official developers’ site. This site should also give you the option to reset your password should you need to. We also recommend you check your inbox for any emails you may have received from the app developer in the past. Most of the initial correspondence may include access details to the app.

No, you will not receive an installable file. Downloading apps outside of the official store is never a good idea. For example, on mobile, you should always use the Play Store for Android and the App Store for iOS.
