You’ll see a pinned video at the top of a user’s profile. However, that’s not to say all videos at the top will be pinned. TikTok orders each video by looking at them chronologically, with the newest videos at the top and the oldest closer to the bottom.

Depending on how many videos a user has published, they might want to put their most popular or best videos at the top.

That way, the pinned video will be the first one that they see, and it is always marked differently from the rest due to the red pinned label in the top left corner.

How Do You Pin A Video?

It’s a simple process to pin a video. All you have to do is go to the video you want to pin on TikTok and open it. Then, click on the three dots beneath the comments icon. Once you’ve clicked that, a menu will appear.

On the menu, you’ll find three rows. The top row shows you your mutual followers who you can send your video to.

Beneath that are the options to send it on social media, including through Messenger or WhatsApp. But in the third row, you’ll get the option to look at your analytics, save the video, or pin it.

Once you’ve selected “pin,” you can put it on your profile so everyone can see it. However, you can only pin your videos and not other people’s.

How Many Pinned Videos Can You have?

Unfortunately, there is a limit to how many videos you can have pinned at one time. You can have a maximum of three pinned videos on your profile. The good news is that you can also unpin your videos and replace them.

Or, they may have pinned comments to provide more information themselves. There are so many reasons for a TikTok creator to pin a comment.

Either way, you’ll find that you’ll push these comments to the top of your comment section. Unlike pinned videos, you’re not restricted to your comments, but anyone who comments on your video can be pinned.

Much like a red Pinned label on videos, you’ll find that Pinned comments will have a small gray Pinned icon next to the comment and under the user’s name.

One of the best things about TikTok Live is that you can interact directly with your audience. So you may be wondering if you can pin a comment.

You may think that pinning a comment could make it easier to answer a common question given to you. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to pin comments while you’re hosting a TikTok Live.

However, they still have a Live Replay feature that allows users to access your live streams to replay and download. While the Live Replay feature is only available for up to 90 days after the stream, it is an option to access the comments section there.
