Clash Royale is a combined strategy and card game. Players familiar with Clash of Clans will also encounter their favorite characters from the game here. However, the gameplay is different, because it does not involve building towers or training troops. In Clash Royale you have to rely on the strength of your cards in the hope of being able to defeat the enemy in a card battle.
The main objective in Clash Royale is to get as many crowns as possible. To do this, one must destroy the opponent’s crown towers by combining spells and performing special attacks with the deck of cards in the player’s hands. Again, for fans of Clash of Clans players, they will be happy to know that each card represents characters they have become familiar with. For those who don’t play that game, not to worry, because Clash Royale properly presents each character and their respective abilities. Going back to the towers to destroy, each one corresponds to a certain number of crowns. There are also towers called King’s towers and Princess towers in which it is possible to win more than 1 crown when you manage to knock them down. If you play your cards right, destroying just those two towers will be an instant victory! However, defending and attacking is not the only thing to worry about, as the towers must be destroyed within a certain time. To be exact, there are only 3 minutes! There are some power-ups that can extend the game by a few seconds, but nothing more than that.
Since Clash Royale is a sort of sister game to Clash of Clans, minus the mechanics and gameplay, the two games have similar designs and graphics. They are colorful and cartoony, but they are not so childish that adult gamers cannot appreciate them.
