The Samsung Health application serves both to monitor your health and progress in your sports training. It is compatible with other programs such as Endomondo, MapMyRun, Strava, Fitbit or Runkeeper, as well as Samsung’s Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Watch accessories.
Samsung Health is a free application to improve personal wellness. It allows you to train at home and consult video tutorials produced by specialists. The user can regain control over their sleep patterns or learn to meditate. The program also has options to share the experience with friends or family and track women’s health.
Samsung Health integrates meters to determine heart rate; blood pressure; blood oxygen saturation; stress level; hours of restless, light or deep sleep; menstrual cycle phase and much more. It does not, however, support calculating weight, caloric intake or caffeine consumption.
Samsung Health relies on user-entered annotations and connection to other devices to get the information it presents on the screen. You will need additional equipment and a Samsung user account to get the most out of it. It is similar to Google Fit and MyFitnessPal APK, although these apps do not have social features or video tutorials. They are only for tracking physical activity.
The reviews of Samsung Health are positive. However, there is a lack of tools to monitor diet, good eating habits, basal metabolic rate, weight and body mass index. It is a very easy to use application.
