Set in a futuristic theme with numerous details reminiscent of celluloid and with pure parkour movements. This is Vector 2, a 2D endless runner inspired by its predecessor but with better graphics to adapt to new devices. Pure adrenaline in a free game with integrated purchases where you must survive as long as possible fleeing from your enemy while you must hack the system to escape.
You’re going to have to be fast if you want to survive this 2D adventure. You have 100 different moves at your disposal to avoid all sorts of obstacles such as laser beams, shots, traps and objects that block your path. With your progress or through in-app purchases, you’ll be able to acquire equipment that will empower and improve your character to help you overcome the most complicated obstacles. It’s not enough just to avoid all the traps and obstacles you encounter through acrobatics, remember that they are chasing you and if you delay more than necessary, they will end up finding you and the game will be over. This aspect is what gives Vector 2 that feeling of haste and agitation that hooks you so much.
Available for free from the Play Store or the App Store, Vector 2 is ready to run on new smartphone models, taking full advantage of the graphics engine to offer you splendid animations, textures and scenarios. The movements of your character are very natural and fluid, helping you to enter this dangerous universe. The backlit point of view offered by the game is, without a doubt, one of its most personal and innovative features. It is a new perspective where the player will manage the silhouette of the protagonist, which is totally dark, while the areas where the traps and obstacles are highlighted with their own light. All this is accompanied by a modern soundtrack that helps maintain a tense and vibrant atmosphere. The touch screen controls are very intuitive and as you progress through each level you will learn the use of each of them to use them at the right time. The interface is simple and convenient when it comes to accessing all the features offered by the game. However, it is not a simple game that you can finish in an afternoon. This is what gives it charm and interest, since it is a challenge to overcome each of its levels in a satisfactory way. A point in favor of this endless runner is the possibility of equipping yourself with improvements that you’ll acquire as you advance. Thus, you’ll be able to use armor that will absorb damage, boots that will protect you from anti-personnel mines or that will let you perform longer jumps, among many other improvements.
While the learning curve and progress in Vector 2 can be somewhat drastic, getting that you can get frustrated at some initial level, once you get used to the movements and management of your character this game will hook you without any doubt and you will have to look for the charger of the mobile. This installment of Vector promises hours and hours of fast-paced fun in a game where you must save your life and flee from research facilities that seem to have no end, with a constant adventure rhythm. Do not stop jumping and running!
