Microsoft Outlook is Microsoft’s official email manager. It is included in the Microsoft Office suite with programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and competes with other e-mail clients such as Gmail and Mozilla Thunderbird. However, it has a much more professional approach.
It is an e-mail client that also acts as a provider of this service. This has been the case since Microsoft, the company that owns it, bought and absorbed Hotmail, the most important entity at the end of 1990 and during the first decade of the 21st century. The origin of Microsoft Office dates back to 1989. However, over time, it has evolved substantially. So much so that, today, it allows you to manage several accounts at once from a single place, customize email-related tasks and create personalized messages with the help of the other Office tools.
Find the program in the start menu. Double-click on its icon to open the welcome screen. Click “Next” and enter your e-mail account (it can be Outlook.com or any other provider). Enter your password, click “Next” again and you’re done!
The degree of customization offered by Microsoft Outlook is absolute. In fact, it is not just a simple client through which you can send and receive e-mail messages. It is also a tool that, for example, allows you to add signatures or easily integrate any other Office document. Outlook also integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Exchange Server. This makes it possible to integrate mailboxes or calendars shared with other users. Facilitating remote collaborative work is another of its main priorities.
The first one is that you will be able to enjoy its use indefinitely through a single payment. That is, without being subject to annual or monthly fees. In addition, it has an innovative dark mode and can be run offline to prepare for sending messages when an Internet connection is available. It is also compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of MacOS.
In short, Microsoft Outlook is probably the most powerful e-mail client on the market. At least as far as the professional environment is concerned, where it is the most widely used. It is true that others are better suited to individual and less demanding users, but that does not detract from its merits.
