Today’s phones are more and more like small PCs, but they don’t have all the tools that PCs have. For example, a good file manager. Fortunately, many developers have put an end to this injustice with apps like File Manager.
File Manager is not as complete as ES File Manager or other similar managers, but it doesn’t try to be. It does the basics, but most of the time you won’t need more. You can move through all the folders on your phone’s internal or external memory, even those with root (if you have the phone rooted). You can do the common tasks in a file manager: cut, copy, rename, delete, share, open… File Manager is also able to open ZIP files and view videos and images directly, without any other app. File Manager also includes a feature called Storage analysis that analyzes which folders are taking up the most space on your phone.
File Manager is relatively easy to use. Basically, everything is achieved after a long press on the file in question, which opens the action menu. In addition, its interface is quite pleasant and up-to-date, with a multitude of shortcuts to important folders and favorites.
If you don’t ask much from your file manager, File Manager has what you need in a compact package. A useful app, with a nice interface, and one that you’ll want to carry on your phone at all times.
