When the diplomatic route is exhausted, you have to take action. This is the premise of Sniper Fury, a Gameloft shooter in which we control a lethal sniper who first shoots and then asks questions. Have fun with its game modes and don’t feel bad about shooting a bullet straight to the heart…. they are the bad guys!
Sniper Fury for Windows 10 is a shooting game on rails: that is to say, you do not move the character through the scenery, you only have to take care of aiming, shooting and using additional options (infrared vision, radars…). The game has a story mode that confronts you with more than a hundred missions in which you must liquidate the required targets. Besides, you have the additional modes of Contracts, Assault and Sniper. To this single player action you have to add an online player vs. player challenge. In it you infiltrate an enemy base and must eliminate the different soldiers in it. These are other players and your team of allies that you have hired (non-playable characters). You can also create your base and choose your mercenaries. Sniper Fury is basically an action game, but in it it will be essential that you invest the money you earn in the missions to buy weapons, improve the existing ones or level up the characters. In your adventures you will also collect objects that will help you improve your equipment.
Sniper Fury is a direct action game, in which the touch controls are very well adapted: it is very comfortable to aim, shoot, zoom or use extra options. Graphically the game is excellent, with good 3D models and an impressive slow motion effect when firing the final bullet. But all that glitters is not gold. In missions with several enemies on screen, they don’t always act coherently: sometimes you’ve killed a guy and his partner next to him doesn’t know about it and continues as if nothing happened, instead of attacking or taking cover. At other times the problem is that the enemies look like they’re made of jelly: in sniper missions you just have to take a shot to eliminate them. Yes, the head gives you more points, but they will still die from a bullet in the arm.
Sniper Fury for Windows 10 does not stand out for being a game in which you must measure the strategies to advance or be cautious in each assault, but it is not necessary: shooting everything that moves is fun and it will only prevent you from stopping the game if you temporarily run out of lives.
