If you enjoyed fighting for your kingdom in Royal Revolt, now you have the chance to be a great king again in Royal Revolt 2, a second installment in which you will face other kings, conquering territories and defending your kingdom at the same time. Unlike the first part, in Royal Revolt 2 you’ll not only have to conquer rival castles. You will also have to defend your kingdom, building fortifications, defense towers and training your soldiers to make them unbeatable.
In case you don’t know Royal Revolt, this game consists of attacking enemy castles. To do so, you have soldiers with different abilities that will have to deal with moats, towers and other obstacles. Royal Revolt 2 has the same characters of Royal Revolt, nice little animated soldiers, but with many new features. For starters, you will have to deal with the kingdoms of other players. Besides, you will have to take care of your own kingdom by building walls and fortifications, towers, training men for battle and without neglecting the resources, such as gold or food. Thus, in Royal Revolt 2 you’ll take care of your kingdom and, when you need resources, such as coins or gems, you’ll have to fight against other kings conquering their castles with your soldiers and the special attacks available. To top it off, these attacks are limited by time, so you’ll not only have to use your best men, but also the fastest ones. In Royal Revolt 2, micropayments also come into play. That is to say, if you have enough resources, you’ll be able to expand your kingdom or get more soldiers. But if you don’t, you’ll have to get them in battle or buy them in the store. In relation to this, the gems will be very useful because they execute actions that would otherwise take several minutes to complete.
As in Royal Revolt!, the game is very easy to operate. During the battle, you see the buttons with the military units and special attacks to which you have access, so that by pressing them you perform each action. In addition, to move your king you only have to click on a point along the way. Unfortunately, as with Royal Revolt, in Royal Revolt 2 the limited screen space on a mobile device means that the battle is seen with little detail, as the camera does not allow you to zoom out too far, something that is not a problem on tablets.
Among the details that make Royal Revolt 2 a great game are its animated graphics, and you will immediately get attached to the soldiers, no matter how fierce they are. In addition, the variety of units available in Royal Revolt 2, and of buildings and fortifications, expand everything we had seen in the first installment of this game.
Being a king is not easy in Royal Revolt 2, but if it were, it wouldn’t be so addictive to play this game. If you enjoyed Royal Revolt, try Royal Revolt 2 now and conquer the kingdoms of your rivals as you build a kingdom of your own.
