Inside Out Thought Bubbles (or Intense Mind Thought Spheres) is a game of exploding colored bubbles in the style of Bubble Witch Saga 2. If that one is starring a witch, this time we are accompanied by the characters of Inside Out or Intense Mind, the movie that Pixar released in 2015.
Inside Out Thought Bubbles is a game in which you must burst all the colored bubbles in each stage. Well, bubbles or memories, which is what the colored balls are called here. To accomplish the objective you have the memory launcher, which launches balls of two alternating colors that, when colliding with other balls of the same color (minimum 3), make all the connected balls fall. The more unused memories you have at the end of the level the more score and stars you’ll get. Don’t pass the level? No problem, spend a life and keep playing; when you run out of them you will have to wait or pay, as usual in this kind of free to play games.
As in other games of the genre, such as Bubble Witch Saga 2 or Angry Birds Stella POP!, in Inside Out Thought Bubbles there are certain variations in some levels. Although the gameplay consists of popping bubbles, the objective of the level can be different, such as freeing characters or hitting targets. To overcome all these phases you have to use your strategy to know how to combine the memories correctly and to launch them with the correct trajectory. Even so, in many occasions you will also be able to use the powers, which are of two types. On the one hand, the powers of each emotion (that is, of each color), which are recharged when you carry the character related to that emotion. On the other hand, consumable powers, such as one that helps you in your path, which are available to you in exchange for gems. Inside Out Thought Bubbles doesn’t differ too much from all the other bubble popping games out there. Its grace lies in its aesthetics based on the Pixar movie and its characters; each one of them represents an emotion that accompanies you in each level. This aesthetic and the characters are adorable, especially if you’ve seen the movie.
Inside Out Thought Bubbles is another entertainment if you’re looking for a simple, time-killing game. It won’t surprise you too much, but its aesthetics based on the movie and the fact that it has a micropayment block to prevent kids from spending money make it a good alternative to existing games of the genre.
