Clicker Heroes looks, at first glance, like a role-playing game. But under its simple appearance hides a game where, click by click, you will dominate the world.
The objective of Clicker Heroes is to have an army that works for you and defeats enemies. If this in another game would be a matter of planning complicated strategies, in this game it’s a matter of clicks: defeat the first enemies by clicking on them and get coins to buy characters and upgrades. More coins means more characters working for you, generating more coins to buy more characters and defeat more enemies, and so on ad infinitum (or until you get tired of it). The culmination of all this is to acquire the most powerful heroes, the Ancestors, with unique abilities.
If you played Cookie Clicker, the famous cookie making game, the mechanics of Clicker Heroes will be very familiar to you. It is basically the same but with a very successful RPG game look. The truth is that this mechanic is understood in two minutes, while it will take you hours to get hooked on it. The bad thing is that there comes a time when you are so powerful that playing the game is no longer too much of a challenge and the fun starts to run out… Or not, that depends on how addicted you are to the game.
If you start playing Clicker Heroes I assure you that, at least at the beginning, you won’t be able to stop. The game’s simplistic mechanics will make even the most reluctant player feel annoyed, but as soon as you start playing it, you’ll end up getting tired of the game.
