The main element of MyHeritage Spain is its family tree system by entering data for all family members. Unlike the limited Personal Ancestral File tree, one of the rival options, the app will expand the tree in an automated way. It uses a database with thousands of profiles and access to information from the census, certificates or newspapers from around the world. For greater accuracy, MyHeritage incorporates a DNA kit with which a cheek swab will be analyzed.
One of the most famous features of MyHeritage is Deep Nostalgia, the function with which to animate old photos so that even black and white portraits from many decades ago can be set in motion. This technology uses an artificial intelligence system and filters that, in a few minutes, make it possible to obtain a natural result. Thanks to Deep Nostalgia, you can see people who have passed away in motion again, or even see for the first time the movement of ancestors of whom until now you only had a portrait.
